Honoring Their Legacy

Joyful Legacy Law was founded to bring light in difficult times. Attorney Gioia chose to focus her practice in the world of estates due to a family experience with estate planning gone wrong and how unnecessarily difficult that made estate administration after the loss of a family member.

This is why we at Joyful Legacy Law will help you to map the path forward after a loved one's death, manage the probate process and inheritance tax return so you can focus on your family.

Our goal is to transform the stress of the legal requirements into a respectful transition that protects the legacy your loved one worked so hard to build.

Probate is the court-supervised legal process of settling a decease person's estate.  This  includes confirms the validity of a deceased person's will, or applying the state's laws for inheritance if there was no will, inventory of assets, and ensures that all final debts and taxes are paid before the remaining legacy is distributed to heirs.
